What is a location address?

A location address is used to uniquely identify a location (point) that you can physically visit. It should not be confused with a postal address, with is used to deliver mail.

Each location address is unique and consists of four parts:

kommun

kommundel if necessary

adressområde

adressplats

Kommundel may be omitted if there are not two Adressområde with the same name within the municipality.
